About this Studio
My story
Growing up blah blah blah, I love cello simply put and its a great tool for learning how to live life.
Teaching Philosophy
-
Through a compilation of all the most prevalent pedagogy material on neuroscience and psychology, this particular approach to cello learning has a proven reason behind each step. Knowing that each student is different, I have a wide array of different teaching strategies to cater to various types of learners.
-
My approach to cello focuses less on just the instrument, but on several correlating factors such as focus, cross training, mindfulness, and many other things. Becoming a good cellist is so much more than putting your finger in the right place at the right time.

Why students (and parents) love working with me

My unique approach to music takes the stress out of practice and places the burden of improvement on the brain's incredible ability to learn and adapt. Students find their successful progress through music to be exhilarating and highly rewarding, and parents love to see their child highly motivated. Not only this, but the skills learned in this studio are transferrable to all areas of life.

Guiding a student through an efficient learning process by modeling/instructing them what actions to do, how and when to take breaks, what not to do, and how to be able to recreate this at home away from me.
